Description

The TechStar Internship Program is a hands-on software engineering program that offers you the opportunity to jump start your career at a top-ranked technology company. Our TechStar program is not your average internship experience - you will be working alongside some of the most talented engineers in the industry doing the same work they do, with daily mentoring and code reviews. Our interns write and test production-level code and are critical in helping our engineering organization achieve their deliverables.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

As a TechStar Software Engineer Intern you will be expected to

Help develop cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of our cloud-based products
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software applications at the enterprise level
Use a variety of tools including industry standard Big Data platforms and Web Frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
Use cutting edge agile software development methodologies such as Kanban, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must be/have:

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Proven knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms
Ability to code in a functional or object-oriented programming language
Additional Qualifications:
